I have always been a writer, as far back as I can remember I was so absorbed in a book and then writing down fanfiction as practice. I think all the time spent writing in my childhood consumed any time I could have used to learn to draw. I am not past a four year old's skill in drawing. I can picture everything so clearly in my head and I want to draw but don't know where to start. Sometimes I feel it's a natural talent in which I will never learn but that kind of thinking is going to do me in. It will take a lot of effort on my part to learn but I hope to one day be able to show my characters and ideas off on a nice painting canvas.

I don't think I'll be bothered with digital art. It's all very nice but it's too intimidating for me. O.o I have enough trouble just learning to colour and draw lineart without having to start with photoshop. I'll leave that for the talented people.

I've been looking at other's art so far, admiring it and learning from criticisms that critics give others and take it to heart, so if one day I decide to draw, I'll be able to apply it to my own art and hopefully come up with something presentable
